The Approval View page of the CAPEX Request approval process allows users to customize the layout by rearranging columns. This is done using the Pencil Icon, which must be enabled in the system settings.
Step-by-Step: Rearranging Columns in Approval View
1. Enable the Pencil Icon
- Navigate to Capex Request
- Click Approval Process
- Ensure the Pencil Icon is enabled for Approval View customization
2. Apply Filters & Select Columns (Optional)
- Apply any desired filters to display a specific set of columns
- You can hide irrelevant columns to focus on key fields
3. Activate Edit Mode
- Click the Pencil Icon on the Approval View page
- Your cursor will change to a plus (+) sign, indicating Edit mode is active
4. Rearranging Columns
- To reposition a field:
- Click and drag the field to the desired location
- For example:
- Move Requested By after Request Number
- Move Action Column to the first position
- The column layout updates instantly based on your preferences
5. Deactivate Edit Mode
- After completing the changes, click the Pencil Icon again to deactivate Edit mode
- This prevents accidental changes to the layout
