Types of Activity Logs
Capexplan offers different types of logs to cover various aspects of the system’s operations:
- Settings: Logs related to changes in system settings.
- Requests: Logs of all requests made within the system.
- Budgets: Logs tracking budget creation, modifications, and allocations.
- Users: Logs of user activities, including logins and changes made by users.
- Uploads: Logs of all files and documents uploaded to the system.
- Downloads: Logs of files and documents downloaded from the system.
Steps to Access Activity Logs
- Select the Reports option from the menu.

- Select the Activity Logs
- Within the Activity Logs section, you will see a list of log types (Settings, Requests, Budgets, Users, Uploads, Downloads).
Applying Filters
Capexplan provides robust filtering options to help you locate specific log entries:
- Search by Field Name:
- Use this filter to search logs based on specific field names.
- Enter the field name in the search bar and apply the filter to view relevant logs.
- Search by User Name:
- Use this filter to search logs based on user names.
- Enter the user name in the search bar and apply the filter to view actions performed by that user.
- Apply Filters on All Tabs:
- If you want to apply the same filters across all log types, select the option to apply filters on all tabs.
- This ensures that your search criteria are consistent across different categories of logs.
Additional Features for Managing Logs
Capexplan provides additional options to manage and export activity logs for further analysis and record-keeping:
- Save to PDF:
- To save the logs as a PDF, click on the Save to PDF button.
- This will generate a PDF file of the current log view, which you can then save to your device.
- Export to Excel:
- To export the logs to an Excel file, click on the Export to Excel button.
- This will create an Excel spreadsheet of the current log view, allowing you to perform more detailed data analysis or share it with others.
