How to Bulk Upload Users in CapexPlan

CapexPlan’s Multi-User Upload feature allows Admins to import multiple users at once using a downloadable CSV template. This helps save time and ensures consistency when onboarding new users in bulk.

Navigate to the User Management Section

  1. Login to your CapexPlan Admin account.
  2. Click the User Managemen Button in the left-hand menu.
  1. Select the Current Users tab to view the list of existing users.

Download the CSV Template

  1. Click the List of Users button located in the top-mid section of the screen.
  1. A popup modal will appear. Click Download Template to get the required CSV file format.
  1. The template will include columns for:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Role
    • Department

Fill Out the Template

  1. Open the downloaded CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets.
  2. Fill in the user details (Name, Email, Role, Department) in the required format.
    • Important: Ensure that emails are valid and roles match those available in CapexPlan.
  3. After filling out the details, save the file in .CSV format.

Upload the Completed File

  1. Return to the Import Users modal in CapexPlan.
  1. Click Choose File and select your completed CSV file.
  1. Click Upload to begin importing the users.

Confirm Upload & Review Users

  1. After uploading, CapexPlan will validate the data.
  2. If any rows contain errors, they will be flagged for review.

Successfully uploaded users will appear in the Users list immediately.
