Creating and managing budgets in Capexplan is essential for effective financial planning and resource allocation. The Create/Edit budgets page contains two main tabs: Budget Overview and Capital Plan. Each tab offers specific functionalities to help you manage your budgets effectively.
How to overview the budget
- From the main dashboard, select the Budget option.

- In the Budget section, click on create/edit.

- Please select an Entity from your portfolio on the left to load its budget details.
- You can overview the budget from there.
How to edit the budget
- Click Open Master Budget Worksheet
- You have access to the primary budget worksheet to view and edit your master budget.
- Easily import existing budgets or export current budgets for external use.
- Generate sub-budgets to manage different sections or departments within your organization.
How to track the Capital Plan
- Click Open Master Budget Worksheet
- Click the Capital Plan tab. The Capital Plan tab provides information on the tracking process of your budget and capital expenditures.
- Click the Capital Tracker Page. The Capital Tracker page helps you monitor and track your capital expenditures.
