By default, once a CAPEX request reaches the Approved status, it cannot be deleted to maintain data integrity. However, in certain scenarios, authorized users may need to delete an approved CAPEX request. This functionality can be selectively enabled through the system settings.
1. Navigate to General Settings
- Access the General Settings area of your Capexplan system.

- Within General Settings, click on the Basic Settings tab.

2. Enable the Relevant Option
- Locate the setting labeled: ALLOW DELETE approved CAPEX

- Enable this option by clicking the corresponding button.
Deleting an Approved CAPEX Request
Once the setting is enabled:
- Go to the Approval Process page.
- Locate the approved CAPEX request you wish to delete.
- A Recycle Bin icon will now be visible next to the request.
- Click the Recycle Bin icon to initiate the deletion process.
Important Considerations
- It is recommended that only Super Users manage this setting.
- To maintain control and prevent accidental deletions:
- Keep the setting disabled by default.
- Temporarily enable it when deletion is required.
- Disable it again after completing the deletion.
