Capexplan provides tools to manage projects and envelopes, enabling users to group multiple standalone requests under a single project or envelope. This feature is useful for organizing and tracking related capex requests within a larger initiative, such as a building expansion.
- From the dashboard, navigate to the Manage section.
- Select Manage Projects and Envelopes.
Overview of Projects and Envelopes
Purpose
- Projects and envelopes allow users to group numerous standalone capex requests into a single project for better management and tracking.
- Example: A building expansion project that includes multiple capex requests for construction, equipment, and utilities.
Visibility
- Super users have access to view and manage all projects and envelopes within the company.
- Normal users can view and manage projects and envelopes associated with their business unit or groups of units, based on their permissions.
Viewing Details
- Click on any project, envelope, or standalone capex to view its details.
- The details page will display all associated capex requests and their statuses.
