The Field Resizing feature in Capexplan allows you to personalize the interface by adjusting the width of fields, improving visibility and workflow efficiency. This guide will walk you through the steps to resize fields on both standard and custom pages.
Accessing the Field Resizing Option
- Locate the pencil icon at the top-right of your interface.
- This icon is only visible if:
- You have the required edit permissions.
- The feature is enabled in the Basic Settings page.
Resize Fields Menu
- Click the pencil icon to reveal additional options.
- From the menu, select Resize the Fields.
Resizing Fields
- Once you select Resize the Fields, the system will briefly refresh. You can now click and drag the borders of any field to adjust its width. Customize the layout to suit your preferences and workflow.
Important Limitation
- Dragging and dropping fields and resizing fields cannot be done simultaneously.
- This is a design consideration to maintain user interface stability.
- A dedicated Resize Mode is implemented to provide precise control over field sizing.
Field Resizing on Custom Pages
- The Resize the Fields option is available not only on standard system pages but also on:
- Custom Pages you’ve created within Capexplan.
- This ensures consistent layout control across all views.
