Managing a large user base doesn’t need to be complicated. The bulk user upload feature in CapEx Plan is designed to save time and reduce manual effort when adding multiple users to the system. Whether you’re onboarding a new team or expanding your existing one, follow the steps below for a smooth upload experience.
Step-by-Step Guide to Upload Multiple Users
1 Navigate to User Management
- Go to the main dashboard.
- Click on User Management.
- Then select List of Users.
This is your central hub for managing all user-related actions including viewing, uploading, and downloading user data.
2 Download the User Template
Once in the List of Users section, you’ll be presented with options to download a user upload template. You have two options:
Blank Template – Recommended for setting up users from scratch.
Pre-Populated Template – Includes all existing users in your system; ideal for adding new users alongside the current list.
Both templates are structured Excel files with the necessary columns for user data (such as Name, Email, Role, etc.).
3 Fill Out the Template Carefully
- Open the Excel file.
- Enter user data in the correct columns.
- Important: Ensure every email address is unique.
- Duplicate email entries will be skipped.
- This ensures your user database remains clean and accurate.

4 Upload the Completed Template
- Return to the User Management → List of Users section.
- Click on Upload.
The system will validate the entries and successfully add the new users.

- Entries with duplicate emails are automatically ignored.
