1. View/Edit Invoices
Detailed Input
- Invoices can be entered in detail, specifying each Site and Utility type. Some ratios, such as usage and cost metrics, are automatically calculated and displayed.
Yearly, Site, and Utility Type Breakdown
- The platform provides a detailed view of invoices, broken down by Year, Site, and Utility type.
- Users can easily view all utility invoices available for a specific Site and list all sites using the same Utility type.
2. Bulk Invoices Import
- Besides manual input, Capexplan supports the bulk import of utility invoices. This feature allows batch importing of invoices for all sites, streamlining the data entry process and ensuring accuracy.
3. GHG Generation Factor
- Capexplan captures all Energy Sources for electricity generation per site and calculates the mean GHG Generation Factor. This factor converts the kWh usage of electricity to Tons of CO2 Equivalent.
- Users can also define the GHG Generation Factor manually, providing flexibility in reporting and analysis.
4. Utility Reports
Utility Reports in Capexplan offer comprehensive insights into utility usage and environmental impact. These reports can be accessed from the Dashboard section and include the following:
- Total Utility Usage and Costs: Provides a breakdown of utility consumption (e.g., Electricity in kWh, Natural Gas in Therms, etc.) and the associated costs.
- Energy Intensity: Measures the energy consumption relative to size or area (e.g., kWh/ft², GJ/m², $/ft²).
- GHG Emissions / Carbon Footprint: Tracks the greenhouse gas emissions, expressed in Tons of CO2 equivalent or Tons of Carbon equivalent.

- Charts can be generated to visualize data per Site, per Sector, per Division, etc.
- Comparisons can be made against the company’s average values, similar industries, or both, offering valuable benchmarks.

- Utility Reports can be tailored to meet specific customer needs, providing flexibility in the level of detail and type of information presented.
