How to Configure My Settings in Capexplan
The My Settings tab in Capexplan allows users to customize their personal settings to enhance their user experience. This guide will walk you through the steps to modify your settings, ensuring they align with your preferences and organizational needs.
Settings
- From the dashboard, select the Administration menu.

- Within the Administration menu, click the General Settings to access the My settings.

- Under General Settings, select My Settings.
Modifying My Settings
Default Timezone
- Default Timezone: Set the timezone to match the timezone of your head office.
Date Format
- Date Format: Choose from three different date formats.
Approval Notifications
- For any capex request that I am an approver for, receive notifications: This option allows you to receive notifications for all actions associated with the approval process or only those you need to respond to.
- Approval Notifications: This option allows you to receive notifications when a capex request is approved, either for all approvals or only those submitted by you.
- Disapproval Notifications: This option allows you to receive notifications when a capex request is disapproved, either for all disapprovals or only those submitted by you.
Dropdown Window
- Allow for dropdown window: This feature enables you to select business units directly within the request, in addition to the default selection from the left menu.
Capex List Filter Settings
- Save my filter settings on Capex List: This option allows you to keep personal settings on the Capex list.
Session Timeout
- Set Session Timeout To: Define the period of inactivity after which you will be logged out. The maximum allowed time is 120 minutes.
Saving Changes
- Save Settings: Once you have configured all the desired settings, make sure to save your changes.
