How to Transfer Approval Authority in Capexplan

Transferring approval authority in Capexplan allows a user to delegate their responsibilities to another user temporarily. This can be useful during absences or when workloads need to be redistributed. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up and managing transfers in Capexplan.

Approval Authority in Capexplan

  • From the dashboard, select the Administration menu.

 

  • Within the Administration menu, click on General Settings to access the Transfers.

 

  • Under General Settings, select Transfers.

 

Transfer Overview

 

The Transfer Overview page displays a list of current and past transfers. Here you can view details such as the name of the user, the title, the recipient of the transfer, their title, the start day, and the end day.

 

Transfer Details

 

Name of User: The user who is transferring their approval authority.
Title: The title of the user transferring their approval authority.
Transferred to Name: The recipient of the transfer.
Title: The title of the recipient.
Start Day: The date when the transfer begins.
End Day: The date when the transfer ends.
Grant Edit: Indicates whether the recipient has been granted edit access.
Checklist: Indicates whether the checklist has been included in the transfer.
